Hi folks,

here is my special S1A-500. I have to do some work on my Kröber ignition, than it should be ready to go. Normally it should start at the drag race at the German Triples Rally last month, but I hadn't enough time to finish it.

Regards
Ralf

Amazing hybrid Ralf! That motor is a tight fit into that frame!

Questions:

What is the reason for the "cut" outer head fin on the left side?

And is the rear brake operative, as I don't see a brake pedal...?

I bet the head is a damper modded one, and the bike isn't finished yet.....

Yes the brake pedal is missing on the picture, good eyes, because I have to make another kickstand for brakepedal clearance. I had one finished,
but I doesn't work like it should. The missing fin has nothing to say. I took it of the box and modified it and it is good enough for this bike. It shouldn't be a show bike it should work and should be very fast. The target is to get 80hp on the rear wheel. After this I will start to save some weight and optimize. John could be right that the fin was broken in former times from the steering damper when the head was mounted on the left side of another bike.

All the best from Germany
Ralf

The front fender I bought from repliche moto Italy on the vintage market in Imola as a H1R replica.

Very nice look. Did you fabricate the tank ?

No I did'n fabrikate the tank. I bought it from a guy on a vintage market long time ago . He did it for a Honda CB 450 racer, but doesn't fit like it should. He did a very good job. I modified all the brackets, frame and tank and so on and now it fits. The only thing what is not so nice, that I need two petcocks, because the tunnel is very high for the frame, so you have nearly two in one tank.

All the best from Germany
Ralf
