Finally got the pipes all finished up.

Stingers cut to length and mounting flanges made for the silencers. I had to get creative with one of the stingers.

Here are the parts to some homemade silencers.

Nice to see the silencers we've been talking about. I like the button head screws, to make changing the packing easy. Good job!

Oxford really nice build  , I like the lower with out the caliper lugs going to do the same on my H1E with out the shop equipment just a grinder sand paper and steel wool, also using the same fork brace on the fork brace I might bore the brace as opposed to shaving the lower its only 2 mm bigger I think.

Good thread thanks for making it  Image

While the lower forks may look round, they are far from it. I had to finish them by hand with a file and sander. If they hadn't already been in the lathe to turn down the tops for the brace it would not have even been worth it to try and mount them to turn the caliper lugs off. The grinder is a fine tool for this job.

WOW!
Reading through this entire thread makes me want to crawl up in the corner of my room in a fetal position and weep...
I feel so inadequate.
I may need to see a doctor or a preacher...
