I started to make a dent on the front end of this bike and figured I would start from the top down.

Here's what I started with, a 2"x6"x12" block of aluminum. It actually was a waste of material but it is what I had to start with.

I took it down to 1.5"x6"10"

Drilled a couple of holes

Here they are bored to size

Getting close

Here it is all finished up. I still need to add the steering stops but I will wait until this is on the bike to mark it and get them in the right spot. The stem is from a stock set of clamps that I cut up. All in all the goal was to make it a little more modern while still having a stock type look to it. I think it came out pretty nice.

The rotor is from a Honda CBR 600rr and the caliper is a universal Brembo 65mm. These calipers came standard on most European sportbikes before radial mount calipers took over. Most of these calipers are gold colored from the factory, this one was factory black.

These are very easy to find as matching sets as all the sportbikes were dual discs. They are not that easy to make work on these bikes. I do not have any of these for sale and don't plan on making any. I do have a set of 2 piston Brembos for sale, here is the link to them. viewtopic.php?f=27&t=4580

No, it is not a direct fit. If you go through the thread the details on it are in there.
