The front skirt is never cut, will ruin the piston.

Okay. I was thinking it was cast and would have a radius instead of that sharp of a corner. That is good news - The pistons measured 57.5mm diameter, so it looks like they are stock. Right?

Cylinders are all boxed up and alot pf cardboard is headed your way. I did hone them up a little and knock the glaze out. I don't like honing cylinders too far so I only took then to where I'd stop and run em. Don't want it to rattle too much.

Thanks! I measured the piston at the very bottom and actually go 57.40mm. Is this the right place to measure?

You measure the bore, and yes, they are first over.

You measure there if you are figuring piston clearance, but not necessary just trying to figure out what bore you are at.

Mark, I asked because I had thought it looked like the piston is stamped 0.00 and I was thinking that meant it was stock size, right. When I saw that the measurement was indeed made correctly, I run out to the garage to get photographic evidence and guess what - it still looks like 0.00 to my admittedly lacking eyesight. However, when I upload the photo and look at it on the relatively large screen, I see... you guessed it, it was 0.50 :wtf:

Now looking at the photo, I can't believe I mistook the 5 as a 0 and I have confirmed your suspecion that I'm a little off!!!
