i used the viton o-rings and some copperseal and so far no leaks yet still early days.

magee wrote: very nice young albert, will you be getting them anadised to get a hard skin on them i was warned off of anodising them , the guy told me his tale of woe but i dont think i am getting the hole/true story, as he said he had ali exhaust for a dirt bike and after anodising it melted at a tight bend. i dont think that anodising would affect its melting point . but i didnt want to find out the hard way. any info is appreciated. Very nice spigots Mark!! There is no truth to anodizing changing the melting point of the aluminum. Really all anodizing is, is a hard layer of corrosion, the material underneath is unchanged. |
