ask moo which pads he uses in his race bike i dont think he has issues with fade.

Mark, my SV650 caliper covers about the same amount of the disk. I have EBC HH pads on it right now. They are old as hell, and a fresh set of pads may be a good idea, but I also think it's my MC problem as Moo pointed out. I bought an EX500 MC and we will see if it gets better. If it does, then I know I'm in the right direction and I'll probably find a good quality 12mm MC as that's what that chart is saying to use.

yup. the master is the problem. Im runnign a full dual r6/fzr setup (2 'blue dot' calipers) on my rd and its effortless. running a 16mm master.
