Hey guys, thought I'd finally make a build thread over here for my H1. The build has been slow and long, but I keep knocking off a little at a time. Here are some pics of the build... Heres how I got it ![]() The parts collection that I started to accumulate ![]() A quick mock up to see where I wanted to go with it ![]() ![]() ![]() |

It's hard to modify that many things and have the package look like it all belongs together. That is a nice job. ![]() |

It's looking great Jens!!! I didn't realize you were getting John's reed setup, did you get any port work done at the same time? |

Walms, Yep I had John do the works, reeds and stage two porting. Thanks for sending those flanges quickly too! Jens |

Really nice, the tank is superb. You must have a timing issue that's keeping the fire and gas from "being on the same page". Great bike, with some high quality detail. ![]() |

Some NICE fabrication work going on there! ![]() Did you time the distributor rotor properly (RH cylinder at TDC, rotor mark falls between marks on clutch case)? If you are running a starfire iggy they have been reported to fire way advanced compared to the stock pickup/rotor settings. You might try switching the wires at the pickup to get it to fire closer to the stock settings. Otherwise have a look to see if your spark plug wires are connected correctly to their proper cylinders.. J |

Everything came together really nice Jens! The tank reminds me of a 6 shooter cylinder, eye catching...... ![]() |
