as the sprockets are approx 100 tho thiner i made a spacer for the front and six small ones for the rear.
also had to grind through the tuff surface and drill a hole for the tab washer.
but all installed and lines up nicley.

PBI make nice sprockets. I have a new set to install as well, :D I decided to try a 47 this time around and rotate 15 and 16 for the front.
Get a good quality chain though, I ruined a sprocket with a cheap imported oring chain in a 1/2 season. On the other hand, LC has 2 seasons on his PBI sprocket and still looking good using a DID chain.

Wow, the last chain/sprocket set I took off must have gone 25,000 miles and is still nearly new looking. I changed it to change ratio. It was a 640 (#60 industrial chain, 1/2" sprocket width). The new one is a 530, 3/8" sprocket width. The narrower the sprocket, the faster it'll wear. Of course smaller chains are lighter and lose less hp.

While I don't disagree with this statement, i believe the reason of my sprocket's demise was due to a chain stretch... If I get LC's mileage out of this next set, I'll be happy enough!
Btw... Even if the teeth are fine on your sprocket Jim, it must look like crap after being installed that long!!!

two-stroke,
It seems the chain alignment changes somewhat under load. After a few rides check the sides of the rear sprocket for equal grease mark impressions left by the side plates of the chain. You will quickly see which way the sprocket(s) need adjusting, even though you thought you set then up perfectly. ;)

did the 520 on the frog, used a spacer and it has been great for over 800 miles. use a good quality o-ring chain and all will be well.
