Your work and bike are a work of art.

And, it is a very fitting tribute to Doug Schwerma, the late owner of Champion Racing Frames, was located in the East Bay Area of Northern California. Doug had serious personal problems, and, tragically, took his own life, but, his work, and legacy live on in projects like this one. He was a friend.

I am sure that if Doug were around to see it, he'd like it, and, then, tell you that there was only one other thing to do, hand cut the lugs on the tires, like a flat track rider would do, using a single edge razor blade... "just for authenticity".

Thanks everyone for the compliments!
The frame is a YAM-1, for a DT1 250 Yamaha.
Got the brake lines today, will be installed soon.
Will let you know how it goes..

Really like the bike, at under 300lbs it should be a hoot to ride.
