I've been using the BT-45 150 70 18 in the rear but before ordering another one(planning on front one too) I saw this Bridgestone:

Can anyone please give me opinions on what other options I have?
My Excell rim/swingarm accommodates this size well, don't think I can go wider unless I go 60 profile if it exists

Thanks

The BT-45 seems to be the only choice, I think my Excel rim is 3.50-should have got a 4.00 but then again the way it is with the 150 70, it's as wide as I can get, almost touching the chain. Stock swingarm

Way to go! I thought I did good with my 140/55/18. I never thought that a 150 could work. (Cosman hub with spokes in kawi KZ1000 swingarm) That nasty thing would look GREAT. It'd be a little drive for you, but Competition Cycle in DANIA BCH. has a lot of N.O.S. strange sizes, cheap. They have an especialy large assortment of "unwanted" 18", 19" rubber.

Wide tires ruin triple handling, but some like the look........ :wtf:

Bridgestone 014 and 016 tires are soft and work well, use 'em on my sports-bike. 130/80-18 is plenty big on the back of my H2, seems like a good compromise to me!! (3.5" rim.)

I like the 150/70 combination and I slam my bike around corners. So the other Bridgestone tires like Battlax BT-014 150/60ZR-18 and the BT-016 150/70ZR-18 might not work, probably because they're radials. The specs say for rims between 4.00-4.5, the BT-45 can be mounted on a 3.5
I'd hate to order the014 or 016 and then it can't squeeze down like the 45...

Best,
JB
