I've got a similar pipe mounting on my bike. I used rubber engine mounts from a portable generator.(Briggs and Stratton) They are a round rubber block with a stud on each end. Sturdy, but not too bouncy! It looks like a great deal of thought went into that whole bike...I'd expect nothing less from a fellow Carolinian!
