The rubber motor mounts on my KH 500 are sweet. Nature of the beast, the H2 has more vibration. With stock bars, there is some vibration but not annoying, feet don't vibrate. No motor shims.

The only vibration I get in a '72 H2 is thru the bars, pegs and seat, apart from that it is fine...............! :?

Mine only vibrates when it's running...other than that - smooth as a baby's arse.

Yes, my H2's foot pegs also double as a vibrating foot massager.

not weird: very comfortable specially if you add, like me an half fairing (which is more a windscreen as you can see on the pictures of the bike) just need a bigger tank and my H2B will be a great touring bike ;)

Gary, I could not get this link to work.
Any other way to see how I might install rubber engine mounts on a 72H2?

Thanks
I did see a few pics on the resource site but the detail was not super clear.
It looked like a shock mount was fitted to a plate that was then bolted to the outside of the frame tubing.
Can’t tell if the frame was threaded or if it was a through bolt with a nut.
Is the frame thick and strong enough to drill a hole through the tubing or an engine mount without compromising the integrity of the frame?
Or, am I missing something?
