One of my customers, is doing this. Mostly for the "cool" factor. Converting a stock rear 500 drum to rear EX 500 disc.......

I figured you would be the first to "squeel" in....... :lol: :lol: :lol: He totally knows the back brake is pretty useless when you have a good front brake, but is in the aircraft industry and has the means available to do some cool mods that aren't done very often. Cool bling for sure!

Cheers, I remember when Kaw/Suz first bought out those huge 12" rear discs - even I used to shake my head and wonder w.t.f.! Be interesting to see the finished article.

If you look, you will see counter sinks for through bolts in the outer center hub.
