just a thought could i use a 520 seris chain on 530 sprockets if i was to skim the thickness down to suit as i have reasonable sprockets ,no chain and i think i need extra clearance for the new clutch actuator.
thanks mark

Be aware the front sprocket is as hard as the "Hubs of h#ll". You'll have the side shape of the teeth to duplicate too after thinning the sprocket...

We run 520 on the drag bike with a 520 front sprocket and a narrowed 530 on the rear as they are more readily available. The tooth pitch is the same just needs to be narrowed

i think i will follow the advise and at least get the small sprocket in the 520 and experiment with the rear.
there is a set (sprockets only)on fleabay but at $125 its a bit spendy.
thanks mark

I did a 520 conversion on my H2, but im not sure how close everything lines up from front to rear sprockets - I didnt check before I started the restore project -the motor is not in. But I still have the original RK 520 chain that has a few kinks in it - from my understanding thats usually from misalignment either from the chain adjuster or its just not lining up - side pressure was put on the plates or rollers.

The right sprocket is a 520 for the H2...

I thought this was pretty neat a laser check alignment tool - but pricey.

A good deal can be had here:

http://shop.pbisprockets.com/category.sc?categoryId=31

Selecting the 520 option actually saves you $$$$! A sprocket pn (amongst several) that fits the front of the triples is the #754 series. It has a built in spacer too.
