A full revolution at 5000 rpm takes 12 milliseconds, the max 180 degrees is 6 milliseconds. I seriously doubt there would be any rpm lost in that amount of time, much less 100's of rpm.

And you keep talking about the first cylinder to fire, which could be any of the 3.................

John, crank accell and decell is how modern car computers determine a miss fire and on which cylinder. So it is measurable.

I'm sure it is measurable with todays computers. I'm just saying the amount of rpm has to be miniscule, (only measurable by a computer) not in the 100's......
