Planning an upgrade to a disk for that bike you rode today JP???
I know Jim and someone else had made up some for the H models, not sure about the smaller triples though.

The "how-to" is on the resource site. Super easy to make.

Bad choice of works, in your case.....

Have you thought about a thumb operated lever on the left?

Thats a good idea, I did not think about it!
I can ride my XT250, keeping 2 fingers on the brake and having a cut out crampbuster that I use with my thumb (right hand). But... the XT has a CV carb and really good front brake! I have to go home to see the diameter of the EX500 pistons to find a good ratio master cylinder. I am afraid that the stock ratio (7.37 ?) will be too hard for me: I'll prefer someting in the 11 range...
Where can I find thumb master cylinder for the left?
Thanks for your tips!
Philippe

A little Google search for thumb master cylinder gave me a few hits... from $2000 to $200... so it should be good! and.... :shh: :banghead I even registered on the disable riders of America....If I could get away with it I'll pay a visit to the kid who miss the turn an Tboned me on his brand new 1198... but alas we live in a policed society...

You may be able to modify a "righty" to a leftie, they might be cheaper.
