Couple more, the pipes are the walmsley cross kit. Lots of fitting yet to go! |

A few pics of last night's progress, the pipes are probably the most fun I've ever had fabricating! Walmsleys kit is really unbelievable, the fit of the cones is super nice, even a rookie welder like me can do it! |

It looks good... are you taking it to Deals Gap for the meet this year? |

Looking real nice. Are you having to modify the cones at all to get them to fit to the gs frame? |

I really hope to have it ready for the meet, should be able to do it. Yes I am having to modify the cones hear and there, its tricky, but super rewarding! |

What are you using to mod the cones, disc sander?? Just a touch off or is it extensive , that’s quite a challange to fit those to a different frame , you must have some fabrication experience to lean on. |

Yea just a flap disc, I say its tricky because when you scallop the cone the circle doesn't always get bigger like it would on something linear. This is my first go at custom exhaust, the kit is so nice, it allows me to spin the cones all I want. That's what I've really been doing, very little reshaping. It's a journey! |

WTF’s are nice for sure. I’m hoping to be doing another set myself soon although I nearly thought I was going to crazy welding the one I have, not the best welder in the world but I managed to get it done. Figure number 2 might be easier..... And when I do them I’m going to try to get them super tight and tucked so I may be twisting and sanding just a bit. But not like what your doing! Keep the pics coming! |

More progress, all 3 pipes are now tacked together. I have some dolly-ing to do to get them ready for tig. You'll notice I had to cut completely through the frame on the right side, and almost all the way through on the left. Pipes had to be first, now it's time to get the frame back in one solid piece! |
