Like the ppg "Omni" paint vs. high temp engine paint in a rattle can off the shelf? |

Normally it's spray lacquer that gasoline dissolves. The engine paints I've used like VHT and Rustoleum resist fuel spills. |

VHT makes an epoxy frame paint in a can as does Krylon and maybe rustoleum. They would be the most resistive, but I still wouldn't use them on a motor where gas can spill. |

Have had good luck with Duplicolor engine ceramic low gloss black(#1634). Resists gas and heat. Just follow the curing directions and it will work great for a spray bomb. |

Thanks for the input guys! Just want to put a coat of something on aluminum to seal it and keep from oxidizing, clear or some other color as engine will be mostly covered by body work. |
