I'm sure this has been asked before, but if I used the Mikuni carb mount 990-842-007, will the Mikuni TM34 carb clear the crankcases on an H2? |

I'm quite sure a TM34 will insert into a good stock inlet manifold on an H2. Same spigot diameter as a VM34..You could poke it in and see if it hits. |

No, the stock H2 inlet manifold is only 37 mm, the TM 34 is 40 mm, it might stretch that far but not the old ones I have.... and I don't have any TM34 yet, the reason for the question was so I didn't buy them only to find out they don't fit... |

TM 32 work on genuine Kawasaki inlet manifold |

You can use the stock ones, if they are fresh and still "supple", as they do need stretching to fit. I have seen a bunch of 34 flats on 750 motors so I don't see a problem. I do know some minor clearancing may be necessary. |

Ive tried it both ways and the stock manifolds work better. You will have to grind the sprocket cover a little bit to clear the large drain plug on the left carb. |

I ground the left carb drain plug on mine to clear the sprocket cover |

My carb mounts are the originals, not in bad shape and won't leak I think, but there is some slight cracking so in no way will they be supple or stretch any. I figured that if I had to buy new stock carb mounts then I was a bit closer money wise to just buying the new Mikuni mounts and TM34 carbs to fit. So it sounds like they do fit, within reason. Plus I have done some port work and am using chambers so 34 carbs seemed like a good addition. The bike in my signature has new TM38 s on it, and I love those things, their off idle response and tuneability is really nice. Thanks guys. |

TM 32. And 34 are same size spigot. Buy some new Kawasaki manifolds if yours are cracked. They are cheap, a lot less than the pistons you will burn up when the manifolds leak. |
