In effect it is like having a large disc, IE more leverage from the disc to the wheel.

How about a stock looking 18" steel chrome rim? I know it's heavier but would like to not replace both rims and want the front to match the rear. Must be a OEM Kawasaki one that works somewhere.

Just get a H1 or H2 rear rim. 18x2.15

The shorter (ex. '72) swingarm works in the H2B frame. I've been running one for years.

KH 400/250 wheel is an easy fit (hub is the same as a KH 500) plus you can bolt a Z650 drilled disc (C3 model was the 1st to have this disc fitted) straight onto the hub

DGA..........I have an H2B..........it handles real good now........used to be like a boat.........like night and day

12 3/4" good gas rear shocks
All balls tapered bearings (replace the ball bearings) in the head stock
I am big guy, so I like the long swingarm.......it's always stable at speed.........new Bronze swingarm bushings........I had to slightly hone them......no slop
Racetech Fork springs........and gold valve emulators........22mm PVC preload spacer.........175cc of 15W fork oil (awesome setup)
3" rise pro style handle bars
Excel Rims fatter in the back......18" and 18" Excel in the front.........BT45V tires...........all ball's wheel bearings
EX500 caliper and EX master cylinder (and EX clutch perch).........one finger braking and no dive
get some string and align the front and back wheels

Probably more than you want to do.......so taller shocks, new headstock bearings, maybe heavier fork oil, 18 front rim.......and you need brakes...EX.......all good stuff
