I suppose you could make a plug to replace the neutral switch and do without it.

34's are a tight fit, sometimes you have to fudge around a bit. I did what Jim suggested, but you can also safety wire the bell to pull it up a bit to clear the switch. Sometimes a bit of clearancing on the case top and bowl drain plugs is needed also.

I have TM34's on my H2b. only clearance issue I had was the left float bowl drain plug contacting the case. I ground the head of the plug down to fit. Are you using stock intake manifolds? I had some aftermarket ones that were longer than stock that caused problems, I ended up not using them.

I'm using stock intakes. The 34's will fit, might have to wet them. The carb / float bowl after its installed is located well forward of the neutral switch.

When I used the TM34's I had stock intakes - no clearance issues.

I agree with the others, you need to use stock manifolds. A little bit of WD40 or silicone spray and they will go right in with the clamps loosened up. Then you can keep the neutral switch.
