This is how the frame ended up, massively cross braced I know. Originally was an H1 frame but ended up being fairly radical with it. Attachment: Frame on Garden table.jpg Oh and one of the rear suspension. The shock is a Nitron unit, developed by Lotus for their racing teams. I think Ohlins are great but they seen very expensive to me. Attachment: rear suspension with Nitron.jpg We had to dish the rear sprocket to alleviate some of the front sprocket offset. Cheers John, yes its my own fault as I have not learned how to weld, lack of space and equipment and will i guess which puts me at the mercy of others. The good news is that the chap that has stitched this together is bloody good, the bad news is it progresses at his pace. Still nearly done on the "chassis", Engine is a 74 motor, drilled to take a set of tuned 73 Barrels(from Gary Clarke) and using a set of VM34 Flat slides. Engine is converted to Rubber mounting and have a couple of other little tweaks, secret for now, but pretty low key compared to sum of the stuff this lot on here get up to with zeetronic doodads and reed inducted cases. Attachment: image.jpeg This is the first H2 I built, regrettably I sold it plus another that I built, really I wasn't using them, h2s in standard trim are ok, but not great, and with prices for even a bitsa clearing $12k for my second build and $15k for this one I moved them on and decided to build this special. Sometimes I regret it, but on the whole I am looking forward to the new build |
