Every H2 owner has 13, 14, 16, and 17 tooth C/S sprockets in their "stash".........surely?? :|

No, I had gone to VM34 carbs back around 1979.

I'm not sure a 17 clears the stock clutch actuator. I know it wouldn't clear my hydraulic one. Hence my 44 rear.

I had a couple of 17t sprockets made, and they do "just" clear. Always found it easier to change C/S sprockets than rears. We went everywhere from 13/47 to 17/45, but Kawasaki pretty much got it right for everyday street use. Nice to pull a 16 tooth C/S sprocket into redline tho!!

just 15 and 16 (am 525 o ring actually).
with standart 530 14 was definitively too short ratio even on road high climbing races too say nothing about 13 (never try) and 17 gave a too long ratio with standart engine and the chain is very close from the crankcase (bottom) :mrgreen:
