That end cap was originally held in by one sheet metal screw. Sometimes guys resort to things like welding if the screws keep getting loose, so look carefully for what's holding it in. If it's just stuck like John said, you should be able to use a hammer and a scrap of aluminum to bang the edge of the cap rearward in a few places and get it to come out. |

Silencer removed, I couldn't see inside well but I stuck a rod inside and it would not go past the silencer portion. Looks like it has the baffles. |

Yes, I'm pretty sure I'm right about them being modified H series chambers. |

I have personally never heard of the S pipes having the baffles. |

As far as I'm concerned, finding the internal baffles confirms that, but I'm not sure it really matters. You have chambers known to perform poorly and clog up with carbon. If they were mine and I had to use them, I'd cut them open, remove the internal baffling, shorten the belly section to something like 3 or 4 inches, and weld them back together. Then of course move the hangers so they fit again. Copying a set of Denco chambers is probably not much more work, and the result would be better. |

It sounds like no matter how pretty they are, they aren't going to work well and I should just get chopping. Can you direct me to more info on copying Dencos? |

The easiest way would be to find someone with a set near you and take measurements. You'll have access to everything at once that way, including head pipes, cylinder adapters, silencers, hangers, springs, and cone dimensions. You might find a used set if you look around some. Putting a location in your profile can help. |
