What was the dif between a GPZ and a KZ? I had a 700, 84 or 85...whatever the embargo year was.

500 lb sounds heavy...a newer 600 with a blown motor might be a better donor

The Gpz models were an earlier version of the Ninja bikes.
More of a sport bike of their time than the road bike models which were the KZ line.
I dont give a hoot about the weight.
Its the look of the bike I always liked, so why not stuff a triple motor in it?
I doubt very much if it would weigh much more than 400 wet anyway.

Shifted my thinking now, as I can pick up a couple of smaller Ninjas for a great price.
Little 1992 EX500 and a 1989 EX250.

Gpz styling always reminded me of the "Tracy" body line. (a little anyway)
