Well, I have a ZX10r, and THAT is the first bike I ever had that I cannot hang on to, full throttle, through the gears, and I have had a lot of bikes..... admittedly, I am not getting any younger. So I am happy to look at the H2's, but not touch.

The 03 R1 I have.....that's a handful in itself and very quick. I don't know what I would do with more horses. I can't use all the horses it has now on the street.

Usually it is a struggle just to get someone to take over the payments!

Much respect given to the power of modern sport bikes, but they could be a lot "sportier" if they weren't geared so high! Most of them have 1st gear taking you to almost 100 mph...meaning you can't even reach the meat of the powerband at a legal speed (or if you can, it's just in 1st gear)

100MPH in 1st is a doddle... But, if you can hang on to one in first gear, (full throttle to red-line) tell me about it...!! H2 afficionado here...!! :D (I have a ZX10r, and I joke that it has all the power of a 250 sports bike, but none of the torque, until you hit 8500 RPM, then WTF..... I love it; it has the H2 Heritage , in spades! (you just need more room!) :D

yah I haven't had any trouble hanging on to the ones I've ridden but it's not easy. The turbo Busa was the most impressive of what I've been on. Turbo lag, then when it kicked in it was crazy.
