It seems to me that the lengths don't really come out to full inches and half inches. I think mine are 14.2" and they're plenty long. I don't remember what the next length they offer is.

+1 Hagons. And do get a lighter spring - call and talk with Dave - he'll fill you in.

Here's my KH400 with Hagon shocks. I also like Ikon shocks. There a little more expensive and they have adjustable damping.

The quality of Ikon shocks is very far from the quality of the original Koni :(

These Works shocks are nice, can't use chain guard. Little north of $500.

I called Dave Quinn as many here suggested last week. Was already to buy the Nitro Hagons and he talked me out of it. He knows his shocks and steered me to these. Went with a softer spring since I'm a old man and don't ride a triple like my FZR or RGV. Going to order a rear shock for the RGV from him in a few weeks too.

What is the pounds per inch rating for those springs?

My KH400 Hagons went by KG. 16KG for the KH400 was way too stiff. Changed to 14KG and it rides nicely now. I weigh 175 lbs.

That must be kg/cm, and 14 kg/cm is 78 lb/in. That sounds about right, because I have 90 lb/in Hangons on my H2 and they're on the stiff side of good.
