Hello to all! I've been working on motorcycles for a while now (mostly Honda 4 stroke) but I found these crusty bikes at the scrap yard last week. Ive always wanted a street 2 stroke and here is my start I'm going to part out the suzuki GT380 to buy a few parts for the H2 H2 is a 74 GT380 is a 72 or 73   Here is the Honda that I'm almost finished with  The H2 will also be a flat track style build |

GT380 is 72, only year with a drum front brake.  And WELCOME!  Looks like you're off to a good start!

Yes, welcome to the smoky world of two-stroking!  Some good used parts can be found by posting your needs in the Parts Wanted section here, or on the other Triple boards as well. Be prepared, things often times add up quickly. |

I know on some old two stroke dirt bikes that Ive had...I just premixed the gas. |

Most of us use the stock oil pump. It's not hard to get into good shape, and if you like going on long rides, really beats carrying an mixing oil at the gas station. On top of that, the H series engines use the pump to feed oil directly to the main bearings. There is a lot of information about the oil system on the resource site. When you have specific questions, just ask. |

husson73 wrote: your Suzuki GT is 72 (drum brake) Yes it is and they are in great condition! The H2 wheels will need new spokes and hoops arnt perfect. I think I'll be using 39mm sportster forks and 19" HD mags front and rear. |
