Or you can spring for the folding peg. Or you can heat and bent the stock kicker.

I didn't need to heat my H2's lever to bend it. Its steel isn't very hard.

One of the things I overlooked. Doh!
Jim- Can you post a picture of your bent Kick start lever?

hey that is a ton of great work going on there, where did you get the excel rims from .
cheers mark

Thanks! I bought the rims from a local shop who laced the wheels. http://www.wheel-works.com/index.html I could have gotten them powder coated a color, but that's too much bling for me.

No need... I bent it back to its original shape after years of use and an occasional slam into the right foot peg. It had gotten to where it always hit the right chamber, and now it doesn't.

That rusty carb looked real bad. However the other two came out looking really great! how'd you clean them?> just soak them in berrymans??

You have shown some fantastic work so far. I agree with all the other posts, KEEP THE PICS COMING!!

About the white stuff in the carbs, I took some H1 carbs apart last week and they were filled with the white stuff. Turned out to be calcium. I soaked the parts in CLR for 5 minutes and it was all gone.

Running premix through the carbs just before storage keeps the carbs from gumming and corroding up like that. Once the gas evaporates, you are left with a nice coating of oil on the parts. Next year, fill and go.
