Thank you Phil. I feel the rd400 is the best, most easily modified smoker platform. Parts are obtainable, reasonably.priced and plentiful. Thank you, building a modded gt380 for DG2017. Gsxr front, rear...porting etc. hope she ripslike this 400 does.

Also, if you want to go wilder with the RD400 lower end, a pair of base gaskets and a TZ750 cylinder (373 cc's), along with TZ head, radiator and water pump will make a dandy street attack vehicle.

The 400 ain't bad at all, either.

Thanks for the tip tuner I'm working on an rd project as of about 2 months ago If I go to the 400 motor and can find a couple of Tz cylinders how do I make the 54 mm stroke of the Tz work with the 62 of the 400
