What's the weight difference going to be, plus or minus over stock?

I'd have done it differently for a spoke wheel set. I'd have used a front hub for disk brake, and made an adapter to solid mount the sprocket to the hub. I ran a Morris mag on the rear of my hopped up street H2 for 20 years, with solid mount sprocket, and had NO adverse issues with not having a cushion drive for the rear sprocket.

The adapter in the picture is nicely made, though.

I'm wondering how the longer spokes with less steep angles would hold up under the torque.

^^^ Perhaps the heavy/ big diameter H1/H2 front hub has a good use after all!! ;)

A rim with different spoke angles would change the spoke angle from a cross 2 to either a cross 3 or 4, super strong, and, the hub wouldn't have to be altered in the spoke holes. If a pumped up hot rod flat track Hogley-Doggelson can use a small hub and spokes in a cross 3 or 4 pattern, and not fling itself apart, our bikes should work just fine with it.
