I'd have done it differently for a spoke wheel set. I'd have used a front hub for disk brake, and made an adapter to solid mount the sprocket to the hub. I ran a Morris mag on the rear of my hopped up street H2 for 20 years, with solid mount sprocket, and had NO adverse issues with not having a cushion drive for the rear sprocket. The adapter in the picture is nicely made, though. |

A rim with different spoke angles would change the spoke angle from a cross 2 to either a cross 3 or 4, super strong, and, the hub wouldn't have to be altered in the spoke holes. If a pumped up hot rod flat track Hogley-Doggelson can use a small hub and spokes in a cross 3 or 4 pattern, and not fling itself apart, our bikes should work just fine with it. |
