Setting up the ex500 caliper conversion.Re-built the caliper with new O-rings and two new pistons cause the old pistons had pitting.Caliper itself had some pitting towards the top where the the two O-rings go(hope this isn't a issue).Re-built my stock H1 master cylinder.I have new brake lines that tie into the triple tree(wanted to keep the stock brake switch)I have bleed it numerous times, cant really see any air bubbles.Brake lever has some pressure built up only when I pump the lever repeatedly.Looking for a little help.Little frustrated whith it right now :e4

Be sure the bleed nipple on the caliper is sitting at top most point while bleeding.

Depending n how you ran the lines and the caliper mount, bleeding can be difficult.
Some of had to use a Mityvac to push fluid in at the bleeder although I have been able to get it right by removing the caliper and angling as per the above.

This is how everything is plumbed in.I did raise the bleeder valve as per mraxle and got more air out.Still a little spongy but much better

Have you actually tried stopping the bike with it? The EX set up "feels' a bit soft, but stops like crazy.

if all else fails...Tie the brake lever to the handlebar and leave it for 24 hrs... ..
Could be air in the master cylinder, Sometimes pumping the master cylinder just moves a bubble up and down

Try this: undo the hose at the m/c and hold your thumb tightly over the hole while you work the lever back and forth, and periodically bleed off the built up pressure by slightly rolling your thumb off (the pressure will start to do this anyway). Do this several times and the lever "should" start to firm up.

You can also bleed the m/c by routing the hose from the m/c back into the reservior, and slowly pump out the bubbles.

I also installed a bleeder at the m/c that takes the place of your normal banjo fitting. The one I got was MUCH cheaper than this, but I can't recall offhand what brand it was.
