Just now getting around to attempting to fire up H2 purchased 2 years ago, purchased from owner who had it since 73, totally unmolested, sat since 87 in heated garage. Did the usual prep, carbs, petcock etc. Hooked up a battery with jumper cables, turned key, nothing, wrapped in line fuse with foil in case fuse was bad, still nothing. Wiring is untouched and original. What's my next step? Any suggestions? TIA |

Yea, I do know better Barry, but when frustration sets in....... Common sense goes out the window sometimes, at least is was a motorcycle battery, just trying to check lights etc. |

Understand Vent. I've learned "some" patience over the years. Get a good battery and chase it down with a volt meter, not that hard, I'm sure you have a good electrical diagram by now. Moo's right - go through all the connections carefully. |

Thanks guys, chasing electrical is not my strong point, do have power up to connector under tank, white wire and at ignition switch, but still no lights. Have power going to rectifier, but not out to regulator, is that how it should be? |

Good, it's pretty difficult to troubleshoot electrical problems without a wiring diagram. |
