A few editing flubs, but hey........ This will also coincide with the other size triples also. But always refer to a manual.

Thank you to John, Dale, et al for all of the great learning tools. I doubt there is any other niche bike forum that has such a great following and resource sites as well as goodwill support efforts.

I've put a few sets of cases together in my time, but I'll have a good look at this, (and other resource sit info.) as I put my next engine together! Thanks to all concerned!

It's really for the first timers, or guys just wanting to see the "innards"..... :P But it is always interesting to see how others do it.

There is one other thing that can be done, that I didn't put in the video (as it might get confusing to newbies) you can always set the crank in first, drop on the bottom case with no tranny stuff, torque down the crank bolts and wait 30 minutes. That will set the loctite, then unbolt the bottom case, take it off, and add the tranny stuff, and have more time to do the sealer.

John

I have already watched them once, getting ready to watch them again, gonna come in real handy as I am going to have Mark at R&D do my tranny and Charlie do my crank (probably sooner than later)

PS: I will check the deck heigth this time around, may want some squished heads done, will let you know.

Great Vid John - looks so easy when Moo does it!!

Can you give me any tips with my retaining rings/ clips that hold the crank and transmission bearings into the upper case? when i mate the cases i am getting hung up on something with about 1 cm to go and i t seems the retainer rings aren't fully seated? any and all veteran knowledge much appreciated.

Actually its the lower case because the cases sit upside down during assembly, so when i mate the lower to the upper case the rings that sit on the crank and tranny bearings are not fully seated and i cant figure how the clip in or seat. :banghead

Before i bang it with a hammer
