Update, I finally found the info on the grooves, the 6305N is good, it's the 6205N which is not compatible with the tranny.

Yep, spot on Walms  , I'm getting my two 6205N ( approx, 1.65mm) bearing grooves machined to suit the tranny bearing ring/C-clip (approx, 2.0mm) as the 6305N is being assembled on my rebuilt crankshaft with the correct groove width. :D
hopefully this picy shows the different width and were its different. The left bearing is original, right one is the smaller groove.

The wide groove bearing is available from your local Kawasaki dealer, at low cost, still used in the 250/300 Ninjas, etc. (Haven't read the whole thread, so kill me, took longer to type this than read it...!!!) :?

That is correct, but they changed the part number.
The H1 parts manual calls out for 92045-010 while in the Ninja 250/300 parts manual it is 92045-1013.
It's the same bearing (6205NX3).

PK, what was the availability like in Norway on the crank bearings you ordered?
I've been talking to my bearing supplier and he's telling me that those nbers are not even on the books in North America.
I have a contact at SKF Canada and he's doing a global search for them now... You mentioned these bearings are oem units in KTM's, I might have to go that route.

I bought the first set back in 2011 from a Norwegian supplier. It was kind of expensive but I was in a hurry:

3 ea. 6205 ETN9/C4.............$41 x 3 = $123
3 ea. 6305 TN9/C4...............$34 x 3 = $102
1 ea. 6305 NR/C3 (could'nt find C4)......$ 45

Total...........................................$270

Six months ago I bought a second set for my next crank. This time I shopped around for better prices.
I can't remember excacly where and for how much but I can find out later when I get home from work.

OK, got it...

3 ea. 6205 ETN9/C4 was purchased at Radne Motor AB, a Swedish Go-Karting dealer. All three was $48 freight excluded.
3 ea. 6305 TN9/C4 and 1 ea. 6305 NR/C3 was purchased at Simply Bearings UK. All four was $104 freight excluded.

So, this time the total was $152

As I mentioned earlier I believe the 6205 bearings on the H1 crank is a bit on the weak side, and the fact that the s-series cranks have six 6305 bearings seems to indicate that Kawasaki at some point realized this.

Anyway, here's an interesting development in the go-karting industry that may well solve this once and for all.

This could make me change the plans for my next crank.
