You've omitted the spacer plate that is supposed to go with the base gasket(s)?? :lol:

Looks like you may be contacting Lani for a custom thickness base gasket or head gasket..... ;)

The fleck of dirt on the 4th fin down is not centered exactly, if that it? :lol:

The gouge in the left side engine cover mating surface? :wtf:

OK, I've seen decked cylinder blocks present the same issue, and either a spacer or thicker base gaskets are used.

Then again, maybe it's a stroker crank! :thumbup:

I saw a similar thing years ago when someone convinced me that certain snowmobile pistons would fit. they did, and the piston pin was in a different location. :banghead

I'm at a bit of a loss on this one. The cylinders were decked so much the piston is 1mm proud, and the heads are step cut 1mm. I have only seen this when trying to compensate for too much port timing, but the timing is very mild. So it's not making a lot of sense................ :eh:
