Anyone have a good lead where I can get this done. I have a good solid H2C tank still with original paint on it. The right side has 3 really large dents in it. No creasing just large knee shaped dents.
Just wondered if anyone knew of a company who could remove these. Don't mind to have to use some filler as it will be repainted anyway.

I would bring it to a PDR specialist. Their claim to fame is removing dents without the need for repainting (hail damage, etc). A skilled tech can remove dents that you would think impossible. Ive had a few triple tanks done (and a couple of old Hondas).

And since you are going to be repainting anyways, they wont have to go to the Nth degree (will cost MUCH less) of getting the dents completely/perfectly out.

I've actually had pretty good luck with the "Ding King" (google) in a few cases, but any good body shop will be able to pull them out, either using the "dentless" method or with puller/welded pegs.

The PRD guys are amazing. I can sorta do it, but nothing like a professional. If it's going to be repainted anyway, I've been able to use pry bars through the filler hole to pop dents mostly out so they only need a skim of filler. The biggest risk of doing it yourself is over pushing so your innie becomes an outie, and cracking the paint by pressing it out unevenly. I've got a Ding King too, and in my experience, I've been able to pull about 80% of the dents I've attempted with it(some were pretty good sized too).

Have you tried a little shot, from your air compressor, with cap on through petcock,, If not to bad or deep have had luck popping out before..

That can work - or bulge the tank where you dont want to. It's a gamble.

Tried 3 PDR places locally and all of them didn't even want to look at my tank....all refused point blank. Guess they must have lots of easy to do new car dents and dings if they can turn down business like that. I will keep trying though!

Find a PDR independent operator there amazing , father in laws new Honda caught in hail storm probably 200 or more dents on every panel after PDR absolutely perfect

That DOES work with gentle pushed in areas. I recently tried that on a KAWASAKI ZRX and wound up with a tank that no longer fits the frame....but then, no-ones ever called me gentle...

You may be able to suck the tank back into usability with a vacuum pump. It worked for me once, many years ago.
