I hope someone can give me some help with my problem. I have a 74 H2. After sitting a few months I started it up and it wouldn't run on the left cylinder. I tracked it to the left carb float bowl was almost full of 2 stroke oil. I cleaned the oil out of the bowl and it started and ran fine. I think the issue might be the oil pump to carb bowl oil lines:are there check valves in these? Can they be serviced or cleaned? I've read about testing and adjusting the check valves in the oil lines going to the cases, but these don't look like they come apart. Any suggestions?

Thanks!

I have a an H1(with no carb lines) so someone who knows more can give you better info. But I couldn't get mine apart either. Mine was clogged and I just blew it out with an air hose. To get it apart I would have had to carefully heat the plastic line, which would scare me to much.

I would try an air hose and carb cleaner from both sides before heating it. If you can blow in it with your mouth and it just starts to open then your are close. I think it is supposed to be around 4psi breaking point.

Most check valve springs are packed. So DO NOT use more than 3 psi or you will destroy the spring. A mity vac or the sort would be better.
