Post subject:  Missed shift/over rev

For those who have had extreme over rev (IE 11,000 rpms during a missed shift etc.) it will often show up in a bent crank stub.

I just checked the runout of the alternator rotor on my H1A using feeler gauges (measuring the stator gap).

No biggie, it's when the end snaps off there is a problem....... :P

I'll be interested in having a good look at the radius under the alt rotor when I take it apart! :?
