Is the rear hub centered in the swingarm on the H1 and the S3? Meaning is the exact center between the spokes in line with the center of the pivot. I never checked the h1 before I took it apart.

Just checked mine (S1 hub on early H1). It appears very close to centered.

As I recall I used a spare swinger as a wheel stand when I trued the wheel. Leveled the swing arm pivot tube, set the wheel plumb using the alignment adjusters (all axle spacers installed) and trued the rim to be centered on the ends of the pivot tube, hence centered in the frame.

PS. The sprocket is in a different position from the H1 so you'll have to watch out for the chain alignment.

Thanks Looney, I had remembered about maybe being some small alignment issues when going from the h to the s but I just wanted to make sure that one of them wasn't really offset from the factory before I get to far.

Use your actual swing arm as a truing stand, with sprocket carrier and all spacers installed . ;)
