To get an extra degree or two (or to do a fine adjustment) if you loosen the three stator mount screws it is possible to rotate the complete stator assy in the cases a couple of degrees.

This works out to .046in. per degree of "clocking" on the stator.

This comes in handy if dealing with frail wiring/pickups on the H1/H1A (won't alter the pickup's air gap either) or when wanting to get near the 25 degree timing of points on an H1B.
