The oil tank on my h2 had some hairline cracks that look like the plastic breaking down and maybe shrinking... I used some fuel resistant epoxy over the major cracks.

Those seem to be holding up OK.. but the issue is that there are other cracks forming at an accelerated rate over the rest of the tank.
Should I be in the market for a replacement tank, or is there another option? :banghead

It's next to impossible to get anything to bond to polyethylene long-term. I'd look for a replacement, or fabricate an aluminum one, etc.. They come up on eBay fairly often. Jess may have one for sale (jessh1 here).

Looking at your avator it seems you need to get a good supply of wood glue and wood filller.

On the lighter side have you thought about purchasing a plastic welder. Google it. I plastic welded a hole in the oil tank on the RZ and its working great.
