Yeah, my views on bottom-ends is to 'let sleeping dogs lie'. Let us know if piston - rattle develops - not that it's something that worries me!!

 Yeah, so why did you bring it up? :D

One you've developed a symbiosis with your H2, you take care of each other, no matter what. :D

Only the loose rods, but I'll probably get to those this winter. That bottom end has been through some really interesting times, and the case halves have never been parted. I hate to disturb things, but I guess it's about time.

I went 20 years - maybe little less - before I opened mine up Jim. I thought for sure there would be some badness (LOL - 12K break-in unintentionally and other types of mayhem). But surprisingly it all looked really good and Charlie found one rod that was out of tolerance and replaced it.

You and I owning our bikes for so long (and abusing them in our youth) really is a testament on how tough they really are.

'Cos I have .080 Wisecos' for mine and they are gonna rattle good, but I am interested to see if the Wossners rattle too, eventually. (I know they work well.)

The intake side of my Wossners should remain quiet, since there's not much left to rattle.
