Well I dismantled the H2 engine I picked up recently... My question is what size overbore have I got? The pistons are presumably Kawasaki pistons and are marked 0.50 Thanks.

0.50 is 1/2 mm overbore, which is the 1st oversize. The bore was originally 71mm, so you can always measure, and figure how many 1/2 mm increments you are over 71.0.

Since 1/2 mm is close to 0.020", it's sometimes referred to as "20 over", and some pistons are actually marked 20 or 40, etc.. That's done just to make things confusing.
