Mike...
did you inspect the inside of the clutch cover to see if there are any "witness marks" from the clutch-plate tabs hitting/rubbing/chirping??

If there aren't any marks, its probably not going to be the tabs.

It did look like a few light scratches, but know I'm thinking that was caused from my polishing guy. I just don't know what to do, Thanks for any input. The motor was just redone from top to bottom, crank, pistons, the works.

The rivits get a bit loose, and the rubber blocks get hard. So there might be some wobble. Nothing unusual.....

Put up a vid...... There are bubber blocks in the clutch gear assembly. you would have to drill out the rivits to get to them. If nothing is scraping, then leave it noisy.

I replace my clutch cover gasket about every 6th or 8th time I take the cover off. Use some sealer on the engine side, and anti-seize on the cover side to make it easier.

I use sealer on the cover side and anti-seize on the engine side. :e11 The cover is one piece and even if you split the cases you can re-use the gasket, it's already on the cover.

Me too, stuck on cover (easier to scrape off).

EBC Clutch plates.

NOT FIT FOR PURPOSE.

All they need to do is supply TWO of the reduced diameter plates instead of one.

That's still some excessively brittle plate material.
