Can anyone tell me if a H1 74 tank will fit onto my KH500 (76) ? Thanks

no...

the caps are different. (KH500 had locking cap, '74 H1e did not)

73 to 76 all fit, the caps can be different

The '76 cap won't fit earlier models.

Thanks. That means if I get an earlier tank I need a new cap, but it wont look like a KH500. Thats useful to know.
