Hi Guys Ive got a friend who's doing up his 74 550 (ist of disc brake mod) and needs to find the right Blue color for it does anyone know where to find it , thanks Al in Aus

Most automotive paint shops have a spectrometer that can "READ" the color if you have a not-too-faded panel. Should be close! Wont be candy though, if thats what you've got

Yeah, Al, a good crash-shop or paint distributor can duplicate a sample, or there are still colour-chip books around which will have a near identical shade. A modern Clear-over-base system is the way to go, but I think you already know that!

thanks All I have put a notice up on Suzuki site , we will see how it goes , the guy with the bike said hes tried everything but , I think he still has a side cover so Im sure a paint shop could match it if needed , I use to ride with him in the seventies and hes had the 550 since new , me on the H2 , good memories .
