Or sholud I run the piss out of for 350 miles or so ..did have a full synthetic oil for the first 1000 miles or so. I read that could cause the rings to take forever to break in

Without pulling the cylinders, you can "scrub" the bores with acetone on a rough cotton rag. This should help break down the glaze. See if the pistons are free to rock back and forth, if so your rings might be stuck in the grooves as Jim suggested.

Thanks guys ..think I am just going to rehone the cylinders and get new ring on there ...do you know of a good website were I can get good rings???

just rehone the cyls, then put the rings down the bores and recheck the end gap of the rings ,if in spec refit the rings and run again with normal two stoke, not syn,don't bother to run in again ,just wring it's neck! :thumbup:

When you hone, it will only take a few up-dwon passes to break the glaze, you are just re-scratching the bores, not removing metal. And wash the cylinder super well with hot soapy water, untill the white paper towel rubbed really hard on the bore stays clean.
