Some of you might remember (from the old board) that I stuck a drag motor in my '72 H2. It runs well but I want to ditch the premix. When I bought the motor it was rebuilt including crank and top end. However it had been set up for premix but the pump was still installed. I tried to leave it on and run it at idle for additional bearing lubrication. I ended up with 2T oil oozing all over, so I ditched the pump and have put a few hundred miles on running premix. The oil jets in the cylinders were blocked with JB Weld and I'm in the process of digging it out. Is there anything else I should look out for? Can anyone suggest what to use to unclog the oil jet? It's a pretty small passage, even a fine sewing needle is too fat (might file one down). I don't know if the slingers are on the crank, but I doubt it..I've heard this is not likely an issue. Any thoughts or advice appreciated.

Some guys say the hole size is the same as a 30 pilot, I use a part number 26 drill bit.
