I was riding my KH400 the other day and I could here a weird noise from the front of the bike. Then the speed started jumping around, and by the time I got home (I kept riding--it was nice out), the needle had come partly of whatever its attached to. I disconnected the cable, and it seems fine. I went for another ride without the cable, and no noise out of the front end.

So, I'm guessing something happened internally to the speedo. Any guesses? Are speedos hard to take apart? Thanks
